Comfortable bed, convenient amenities, with a hot shower that provided great water pressure and a nice balcony to enjoy the view outside.

My experience was frustrating from the start. The man at the front desk was incredibly rude and unhelpful, making me feel unwelcome. To make matters worse, I was charged for things that should have been complimentary, which felt like a scam for what I was paying! This hotel is a complete disappointment and not worth your time or money.

Breaking it down, plain and simple

Certain aspects of my stay were pleasant, such as the pool and the clean room, but the property felt worn down. The office was locked with inadequate lighting, which raised concerns. Although I had a renovated room, the heavy locks inside left me uneasy. It’s a mixed bag overall, given the atmosphere.

The room had a balcony that offered nice views of the canal. It was clean and equipped with air conditioning and a kitchenette with a microwave and refrigerator. The outdoor swimming pool was well-maintained and a great spot to relax. The shower had good water pressure, making it a comfortable stay.

It was just a great match for a weekend outing in Cape Coral with value for price. The toilet in my room rocked back and forth when I used it, which was pretty funny. Make sure to check all appliances when you get in.

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel, especially the easy access to nearby fishing spots. The pool area was ideal for relaxing after our family activities, and my older kids loved the cable programming available in our room.

In my wife’s opinion, the hotel could improve by eliminating the strong smoke odor throughout the hallways.

the oyo waterfront hotel has a lovely waterfront view and a nice patio. the room was clean, and the vibes were great for a short stay. it’s nice and cold inside, which is perfect for the florida heat. i really enjoyed the outdoor space too.
